Town Manager

Reporting to the Town Council, Charlie Read is the Town's Chief Administrative Officer responsible for directing all day to day operational and administrative activities of the Town. cread@southernshores-nc.gov

Executive Assistant to the Town Manager

Merrie Smith serves as executive support to the Town Manager. She maintains our broadcast e-mail, web site, and data bases, coordinates volunteers and manages the solid waste and recycling programs.

Bonnie Swain Finance & Personnel Officer

Bonnie Swain serves as the Town's finance & human resources director responsible for all financial records, reconciliation of accounts, tax collection, payroll services, and personnel issues.

Town Clerk

Carrie Gordin maintains the official documents of the Town. She provides administrative support for the Town Cemetery. Contact Carrie for any public records.

Sheila Kane is your first contact with the Town coordinating calls, greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, performing database work, and developing public education materials. She Assists both the Finance and Code Enforcement offices. skane@southernshores-nc.gov
