Public Works Department
The Town of Southern Shores Public Works Department is responsible for mowing the approximately 40 miles of Town roads' right-of-ways, maintaining street signs and all multi-use paths and maintaining and landscaping Town properties. Public Works is staffed by Tim Gregory, Public Works Supervisor and Harold Herndon and Dave Foster our two Maintenance Technicians. Tyrrell County inmates and community service workers are also available to help with all of the above duties.
